Abstract
omen in Nigeria experience many forms of abuse of their political, social, economic and natural rights as a result of the patriarchal system in place. This paper examines cultural practices that entrench gender injustice against women in Ohuhuland, it utilizes the ethical principles developed by German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer to analyze and address gender inequality d of research to interrogate the courses, forms as well as proffer solutions to gender injustice. The study will rely on both primary and secondary data. The study contends that social institutions in he community has the capacity to provide the needed orientation, training and education that will not only emancipate Ohuhu women but will also bring about gender justice. This study concludes that gender justice is possible in our contemporary society through the thorough application of Bonheffer’s ethics; this is because Bonhoefferian ethics is built on Christological, ontological and anthropological foundations.
